When I first listened to the CD “Castles in the Sand”, I got a lump in my throat. When I heard Dennis sing it live to our troops, the heart of the song rang out of his voice and there was not a dry eye in the audience. Castles in the Sand is a great gift that Dennis has given to our men and women in the Armed Forces who have sacrificed so much to preserve America and keep it great. In addition, a great gift to anyone loves this country and appreciates the generosity of heart given by so many in and out of the Armed Forces. Most, it brings sense, comfort and pride to the children who must be bewildered by where their parents are, perhaps the ones making the biggest sacrifice of all. I will never see a sand castle in the same way again. Let me know if you had something else in mind or if you would like any changes made at all. I am not sensitive!

Dennis, Thank you so very much for sharing your music and video with us today. I am not usually such a softy (at least I do not want to let my Airmen know I am) but your song did bring a tear to my eye. I had to show you my family photos because it is because of them your music means so much to me. I have emailed all the folks on my email list to find your songs and especially the Castles In The Sand video. I have no idea how video of the year is determined but if I could vote I would do it the Chicago way…voting early and often!
